DOCUMENTING THE BEAUTY OF THE CALIFORNIA COAST
Coming from the beautiful Rocky Mountains near Vail, we are so fortunate to be able to get on the road and have wide open spaces to travel all the way to the California coast. This drive is one of my favorites; going through the incredible rock formations in Utah, across the desert, landing in Las Vegas, Nevada. On to the coastline experiencing the lush hills,steep cliffs & vast ocean. Never get tired of this trip as it brings many opportunities to find new & meaningful images.
YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU MAKE IT
Textures and light are what inspire me the most. Any given scene changes at different times of the day with light and shadows accentuating or muting it. Turn in any direction to see a new and captivating photo.
Nature provides such an incredible landscape with an endless palette of colors. I try to find that sometimes hidden photo in what may seem to be the ordinary.
