HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU JUST WALK BY & NEVER TALK TO?

Every day we just pass by people without ever giving a thought about them. Often it may be the ones that need someone to notice them the most. On my travels, I like to stop & engage those who we normal ignore. Here are a few interesting people that allowed me to photograph them. I guess I like guys with beards….

YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU MAKE IT

On a past trip to San Jose, California, we spent a day in Palo Alto to capture the street life there. Everyone was walking right by this man on the street asking for money. We asked if $5 would let us take his photo and he readily agreed. Well worth it!

From the Indian man tossing Naan bread in the clay cooking vessel at a Santa Cruz Farmers Market, to the kid walking (riding) his dog in Mendocino, to the contemplative man on the street, to a regular customer at a distillery in Colorado, I find that these are the people that spark my interest the most.
